Flashbang
Onetime member of the Brockton Bay Brigade, and thus a veteran member of New Wave. Flashbang is husband to Brandish, father to Glory Girl and adoptive father of Pancea. Mark is noted as a sufferer of clinical depression by Panacea in Interlude 3. During the events of the Extermination arc, Flashbang suffered a major head injury and it has been stated that he will likely require care for the rest of his life.
Flashbang's powers allow him to create light grenades - orbs of light that roll or bounce until a set time has passed, at which point they explode. These explosions can either be concussive (and largely nonlethal) or explosive, with potentially lethal force. He can adjust the size the charges to control the size of the resulting explosion. He maintains secondary powers that allowed him to ignore the effects of his own improvised weapons.
